How to play Nonogram
Fill in the grid to reveal a hidden picture. The numbers next to each row and above each column tell you, in order, how many cells of each colour come in a row.
How to play
- Each number is a block of consecutive filled cells of that colour, in the order shown.
- Blocks of the same colour are separated by at least one empty cell; blocks of different colours may touch.
- Choose a colour, then tap or drag across cells to fill them. Use Mark (✕) to note cells that must stay empty.
- A wrong cell counts as a mistake and is corrected for you.
- When every coloured cell is filled, the picture is revealed.

Nonograms — also called picross, griddlers or paint by numbers — are picture logic puzzles. Every picture on PuzzleWorld is randomly generated and checked by a solver, so it can always be solved by logic without guessing.
Easy puzzles are black and white. On medium and hard, two to four colours are used: each clue number is shown in its colour, and the colour bar below the grid tells you how many cells of each colour are still missing.
